Meanwhile, the front of Sabres.com says Grand Larsony...
Jesus, Garf, can't you be original once in your life.

2 goals in an exhibition game!!! Holy Crap he must be the 2nd coming of Christ!!
By that method Nick Johnson in Boston is gonna push for the Rocket Richard this year with his 3 goals in 2 preseason games!!! |

You are truly an embarrassment to us fans.
The next Zetterberg? At this stage, that is truly laughable, and an insult to Henrik and every Red Wings fan in existence!
Already calling that trade better than Wilson for Warrener? After a couple pre-season games?!?
He's easily a 30-40 point center? Why are you basically making him out to be a Peter Forsberg clone, then?
There's nothing this 21-year old can't do? Well, it's obvious he can't score 50-60 points, if all you're giving him is 30-40 points. Oooohhhh, you meant this season he can be a 30-40 point guy? Then you should say so with an INTELLIGENTLY CRAFTED SENTENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What were the Minnesota Wild thinking when they traded him and the 1st rounder that became Zadorov for Pominville and a 4th rounder? they were thinking, "how can we add to a team we feel is on the cusp of possibly challenging for a championship?", that's what.
Oh, and before last trade deadline, you had never heard of Larsson before, so don't act like you know why Cliff Fletcher drafted him.
JOKE.

It is so annoying to come hear to read about a game or hockey and read the BS about Garth. It seems like people do it now just to do it.
my message to those that prefer to bash Garth instead of talking hockey is;
If you don't like Garth's blogs don't come here and read them.... give us all a break |

GARTH is a troll. his blogs are intended to piss people off. (which, judging by his comment figures, has worked brilliantly.) can't act all surprised when people take the bait. GARTH had the eyes and ears of one of the biggest fanbases on this site. he chose to flip them the bird instead of providing valued content. this is the result. |

But you KNOW this.
You know WHY he's doing it.
And you still can't help yourself?
Yeah, I find that odd, sorry. Enjoy flying into the bug zapper though. |

Or just come in and hold a conversation with the posters... I'm not sure what people think they accomplish by dive bombing their complaints for everyone (BUT GARTH) to read then skedaddling. He doesn't care, nor do we, if you're not a total n00b you should know this, so why bother?
Scotch tape, for example - we could actually talk about something like how I think those Canes sweaters are pretty slick. What do you think? - nfph

I'm 99.9% sure this was directed at me, but I'm sure I can speak for many, so I'll answer your question with this:
The Sabres fans are one of the most passionate, intelligent fan bases out there. We can hang with anybody.
We, along with Leafs, Canadiens, Flyers, Oilers and Canucks fans are also major reasons why this site is so successful. It it wasn't for these teams' fans coming to this site day in and day out, over and over and over again, Eklund is flipping Philly cheesestakes at some greasy corner hole.
Why, then, do we have a "writer" than has no grasp on: the English language, punctuation, fact-confirmation, spell check or self control when it comes to posting the most outlandish dreck.
And he gets his own corner?
There's a reason Garth's comments are down, what I would estimate, 80% at least.
I guess I've given Ek too much credit. |
